Our Like new (grade 1) military surplus items may have been un-issued or issued but have no signs of use. To meet this grade, we look at zippers, buttons and buckles for scratches and use since those are telltale signs. The color should be crisp. This grade is the hardest to get and would be closer to new pricing but still offered at a discounted price and well worth the money.
Our used (grade 2) military surplus items are offered in good, usable condition, with plenty of life remaining. However, it is important to note that due to their previous military use, these items may display signs of wear and tear. Such signs can include stains, surface rust, markings, repairs, or minor holes and tears that do not affect functionality. Our team has conducted a thorough inspection of all items and has made necessary repairs where applicable.
Please be aware that items designated as vintage are typically not repaired, as we aim to preserve their original appearance and value.
Our used (grade 3) military surplus items are offered in excessively used condition. It is important to note that due to their previous military use, these items may display signs of significant wear and tear. Such signs can include heavy stains and or heavy fading, major surface rust, heavy markings, broken zippers and or buckles, missing or damaged straps, or major holes and tears. At time soldiers purchase damaged gear to replace something that was lost or to turn into CIF at the end of their service. At times we choose not to repair items due to our own time and cost involved. These items can be repaired and may be usable as is but not fully functional in their current condition.
